HAPPY 30TH BIRTHDAY LIL DURK

 

    

    In today's news is the birthday of a legend straight from the south side of Chicago. Born October 19, 1992 in Eaglewood, Illinois Lil Durk would make decisions that would land him in a better place than almost all of his peers. Although Lil Durk lost his father at a tender age in 1994, he would grow to become one of the most inspirational rappers of the past decade.

     After self-releasing a few singles that were downloaded over 200,000 times on his own, Lil Durk would ultimately become affiliated with Def Jams for the majority of his career. His first single being "Dis Aint What You Want". His song "Remember My Name" peaking at number #14 on the Billboard 200. Lil Durk has had quite reputable career for himself.

    Besides his success in the music industry Lil Durk also possessed quite a soft spot for children. As he is the founder of Neighborhood Heroes – Founded by Lil Durk – Neighborhood Heroes is a registered community-focused, nonprofit organization founded by Music Artist, Lil Durk. Being a father of six children himself Lil Durk is leaving a better world for his children, who can look up to not only an entertainer, but a better man than is often produced by the glitz and glamour of fame. Let's give it up for a 3rd decade of greatness. May we witness many more from this man.
